If you have ever been tempted to learn a second language then you might have wondered whether you were up to it. Unless you are a superhero maybe you thought that it was going to be too difficult for you. Well, here are some of the reasons why you don’t need superpowers to become bilingual.

No Need to Be Smarter than Mere Earthlings

I used to think that you had to be as smart as a superhero from a more advanced civilization and own a giant brain to learn a second language. I now realise that this isn’t the case. So why is it that some people seem to be better at doing this than others? I thought about this for a while, as it does genuinely seem to be the case that some students learn quicker and more effectively than other mere Earthlings. In the end, I came to the conclusion that it is simply down to the level of enthusiasm which each person puts into and the type of learning method they choose. For great Italian lessons London is as good as anywhere on Mars, Krypton or even the planet Zork.
