Learn Spanish on the Next Level (part I)
When you learn Spanish, or any other language, you need to pass through some phases which everyone goes through. At first you feel like you are never going to learn the language, then you learn a few words and think you know it all until someone asks you the time and you reply, “no gracias”, and then you realise that there is still a long road ahead of you.
After that it is really a bit of a roller coaster ride – at least in my experience – as learning new words make you feel great and making silly mistakes makes you feel as though you have taken big backwards steps in your learning.
Within this process there are several key moments in which you will feel that you have moved onto the next level, and here are my recollections of this happening when I was trying to learn Spanish in South America.
