3 Weird Ways to Improve Your Language Skills (Part I)
There is no denying that taking language classes is the ideal way to get started on learning a new tongue. However, there are some other, more unusual ways to go about refining your knowledge once you have the basics.
Read the Food Labels
I must confess that I have always been a fan of food labels. Back in the UK I used to enjoy the products which came with various languages written on them and I made a point of learning words like sugar and chocolate in 5 or 6 different languages. Well, you never know when it might come in handy. So, if you are taking Italian lessons London offers you the chance to learn by buying Italian products and having a good old read at the same time. I believe some of the products might be pretty tasty as well. People might look you at funny if you start reading labels in the supermarket but it is worth it to find out what raspberries or camomile tea is called in the tongue you are learning.
